A few things you should know
We are very fortunate to be able to host our wedding in this spectacular natural setting.  The Cascades Mountains span some of our favorite ecosystems, from the lush green forests of the Willamette River Valley to the dry ponderosa pine forests of Central Oregon.

The wedding day
We are hosting the wedding ceremony and reception at the Dalles Ranch, a rustic retreat on the Eastern slopes of Mt. Hood.  It’s a wonderfully remote location with breathtaking views of the Columbia River Gorge and the summit of the mountain.

A Wedding On The Eastern Slope
Day: August 4th, 2007
Time: 3:30 PM

Place: The Dalles Ranch.
Where? It’s a lovely 180-acre ranch sited on the Eastern slopes of Oregon’s majestic Mount Hood.

Where Should I Fly?  The Portland International Airport.

How should I get there? You can drive to the Ranch or you can catch our chartered shuttle from the Dalles (details  on the Transportation page).

Where Should I Stay? In addition to camping out under stars on the ranch, we recommend the Shilo Inn in the Dalles.  This and other options are mentioned on the Lodging page.

What should I wear? This will not be an overly formal wedding.  We welcome any attire you like, from t-shirts and jeans to tuxes.  If you like to dress up, go for it!  If not, please don't do so on our account.

Is there a gift registry? Yes, but please read our Gifts page first.

Who was invited?  Your significant other and any children you may have are welcome, even though they may not have been specifically indicated on your invitation.
